BREAKING: Plane Just Went Down Near White House, Here’s Who Was On Board

At about 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time and aircraft dropped out of the sky not far from the White House and landed in a wooded area, just south of Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. Homes in the area are being evacuated and now we know who was on board the plane when it went down.

Mark Brady of Prince George’s County Fire & EMS said that fire officials are going door to door at this time alerting residents to the risk of exposure to possible hazardous materials. What’s believed to be an Air National Guard F-16 crashed in their neighborhood seconds after the pilot ejected from the plane. His condition is unknown at this time but he has been transported to a nearby hospital. He was the only one on board and thankfully so since he’s specially trained in how to handle these emergencies.

“We have reports that there was one pilot on board the aircraft who parachuted out, and has been picked up by a military helicopter and has been taken to an area hospital,” Prince George’s County fire department spokesman Mark Brady said, according to NBC Bay Area.
